Stanford S. Carr, President of Stanford Carr Development, LLC, oversees an extensive portfolio of projects ranging from master-planned communities to resort-style living to affordable housing. In the three decades since he founded SCD, Stanford and his projects have earned numerous local and national awards including the Western National Awards at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the American Institute of Architecture and the Governor of Hawaiʻi, among others. In 2017, Stanford received the LOCUS Developer of the Year Award from Smart Growth America for his exceptional leadership in smart growth development.
