Timothy Wedell brings an exciting background and high-profile experience to Maui. Earlier in his career, he worked with DPG Club Development as the Executive Chef to help transform private islands and escapes into luxury resorts. He then gained experience as the Executive Chef at Starwood and Marriott properties in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Chicagoland for a total of eight years. He then headed West to take a position as the Executive Chef of Omni Hotels & Resorts before returning to the Marriott family in 2022. Wedell relocated to Maui in late 2024 as Executive Chef of The Westin Maui Resort and Spa, Kaanapali. Throughout, Timothy Wedell also enjoyed seasons as the Chef de Cuisine at Augusta National Golf Course, home of The Masters Golf Tournament, where he worked in the main clubhouse for seven years up to 2022.

His approach to leading is rooted in patience and a love for service. Wedell is inspired by his grandmother who worked as a housekeeper at a resort and always cooked dinner upon her return home, crediting the spark for his culinary journey to her.
