Peter Shaindlin has served as Chief Operating Officer of Halekulani Corporation since 2003, where he leads one of Hawaii’s most iconic luxury hospitality brands. A distinguished global executive, he brings over three decades of experience in luxury hotel and resort management, cultural stewardship, and brand leadership.

Shaindlin’s career spans prestigious roles, including overseeing food and beverage operations at the United Nations World Headquarters and holding senior leadership positions with Rock Resorts and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. His expertise lies in elevating guest experiences, promoting operational excellence, and integrating cultural and artistic values into the hospitality industry.

Beyond his executive role, Shaindlin is a passionate advocate for the arts, education, and community development. He currently serves on the board of The Leading Hotels of the World and has previously served on numerous other boards, including the International Luxury Hotel Association, the AAA Advisory Board, the Bishop Museum, the Hawaii Arts Alliance, the Japan-America Society of Hawaii, the Hawaii Employers Council, the Waikiki Improvement Association, the Merwin Conservancy (Maui), and the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.
