Kuhio Lewis is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hawaiian Council, where he leads efforts to uplift Native Hawaiian communities through economic development, policy advocacy, cultural preservation, and regenerative tourism. Under his leadership, the Hawaiian Council has expanded statewide and nationally, distributing millions in resources and launching initiatives in housing, small business support, workforce training, and bringing the Annual Native Hawaiian Convention to the continent.

A proud graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi and Hawaiian homestead lessee, Kūhiō also leads Hawaiʻi Holdings & Investment, a holding company focused on sustaining the Hawaiian Council’s mission and building companies that continue to support Hawaiʻi and its residents.
