Jordan Swiler

Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach - Honolulu, HI

Jordan Swiler began his culinary journey in the basement of his parents’ Minneapolis home, where he was captivated by the culinary prowess of chefs such as Emeril Lagasse and Alton Brown. Enrolling in culinary classes during his time at Edina High School marked the inception of his passion for the culinary arts.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in food science from the University of Missouri in 2009, Swiler embarked on his professional cooking career, starting as a line cook before progressing to Sous Chef at Café and Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis. He then assumed the role of Executive Sous Chef at D’amicos The Continental in Naples, FL, before returning to Minneapolis to become the Executive Chef of Café and Bar Lurcat—a position he held for six years.
Swiler broadened his culinary horizons by serving as the Complex Executive Chef for Highgate Hotels in Alaska and Arizona. His journey led him to Las Vegas, where he became the Corporate Opening Chef for Table One Hospitality, a collaboration between Chef Michael Mina and Highgate Hotels.

Presently, Jordan Swiler holds the position of Area Director of Culinary for Highgate Hawaii and serves as the Executive Chef of the Alohilani Resort in Waikiki.
