Jordan Swiler

Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach - Honolulu, HI

Jordan Swiler started his culinary career in the basement of his parents Minneapolis home watching the likes of Emeril Lagasse and Alton Brown explain food on an up-and-coming Food Network. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Food Science, Swiler took his initial dive in to professional kitchens at D’amico and Partners Café and Bar Lurcat, in the Loring Park Neighborhood of Minneapolis. This kitchen would lay the foundation and love of fine dining and high-end service. He was promoted and relocated as Executive Sous Chef for D’amico and Partners The Continental, in Naples FL. After running that kitchen for two years, Swiler returned home in a full circle moment to take over his dream kitchen as the Executive Chef of Café and Bar Lurcat, and would lead that kitchen for 6 years.

In 2021, he took his Culinary career on the road again as Complex Executive Chef for Highgate Hotels, then as Corporate Opening Chef for Table One Hospitality, a venture between Chef Michael Mina and Highgate. He now sits as Area Director of Culinary for Highgate Hawaii, and as Executive Chef of The Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. Jordan Swiler has an eclectic culinary style, leaning in to Asian and Middle Eastern flavors while still maintaining a European culinary technique and training.
