Hailey Berkey is Foodland’s Corporate Beverage Manager and serves as General Manager of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii.  Since joining Hawaii’s largest grocery retailer in 2022, she has played a key role in creating innovative drink programs that celebrate Hawai‘i’s flavors and hospitality and enhancing beverage offerings across Foodland’s restaurants and bars including The Bar at R. Field, Pau Hana Bar, ELEVEN, et al., Mahi’ai Table, and Redfish Poke Bar by Foodland.  She is credited with perfecting and evolving the cocktail and beverage menus for more than a dozen of the company’s various concepts.

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Hailey has developed expertise in restaurant operations, beverage program development, and brand strategy. She is known for creating guest-centered experiences that combine innovation with a strong commitment to local ingredients and sustainability. Prior to joining Foodland, Hailey owned and operated The Nook Neighborhood Bistro, where her inventive, ingredient-driven menu earned the ‘Ilima Award for Best New Restaurant in 2019. She also co-founded On The Rock, Hawai‘i’s first clear ice company, which supplies premium cocktail ice to many of the state’s top bars, restaurants, and events.

Through her leadership at Foodland, Hailey continues to elevate Hawai‘i’s food and beverage scene, shaping programs that honor local traditions while pushing the boundaries of hospitality and flavor.
