Ali Vogele is a Maui-born culinarian, born and raised in Hana, Maui. Vogele worked at the Hana Resort before travelling to Arizona to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale. There, he worked at the Arizona Biltmore resort as well as at the Cliff Castle Casino. Vogele has worked in a number of small restaurants throughout his career.

In 2023, Ali Vogele returned to Maui to join the team at Hyatt Regency Maui. In addition to working at various Hyatt Regency Maui offerings including Umalu, Japengo, The Drums of the Pacific Luau and in Hyatt Regency Maui Events, Vogele has assisted Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport on Task Force. Vogele enjoys Asian cuisine and is an advocate for Maui culinary culture.
