Serving Up Fierce Fashion & Food at Blue Note Hawaii at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort on October 27
HONOLULU, HI (June 27, 2019)—Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) and EFFEN Vodka presents Drag Appetit on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the savory and sweet brunch dishes by the pride of today’s culinary scene. In support of the 2019 Honolulu Pride, HFWF will continue the celebrations at Blue Note Hawaii at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort with bites, flowing cocktails and a special performance by The Party Monsters.
“This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, so it couldn’t be a more perfect time for HFWF to introduce a pride event to its lineup,” said Joe Bock, Director of Hawai`i LGBT Legacy Foundation. “We are happy to support Drag Appetit by inviting our friends at World Pride Day in NYC to the event. It’s important to showcase the unique talent and personalities of Hawai‘i with our community and visitors.”
Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress as they help count down to the headlining performance by Honolulu’s greatest drag performers, and enjoy the grand-tasting with perfectly poured cocktails. Dishes will be prepared by Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival culinary talent, including:
- Chai Chaowasaree, Chef Chai
- Abby Ferrer, Star Noodle
- Kelvin Ro, Diamond Head Market & Grill
- Delia Romano, Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort
