Tiffanie Barriere is an award-winning bartender, educator, author, presenter and industry innovator known globally online as The Drinking Coach. A Louisiana–Texas native based in Atlanta, she has built a career at the intersection of cocktails, culture, history, and hospitality, weaving storytelling, heritage, and flavor into her work.

She is the author of Good Spirits, her debut cocktail book blending recipes, technique, history, and cultural storytelling while celebrating the people, places, and traditions that have shaped drinking culture.

Named a 2024 Food & Wine Game Changer, Tiffanie currently serves as U.S. Co-Chair of the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and has received some of the beverage industry’s highest honors, including the Tales of the Cocktail Visionary Award and Women of Whiskey Bartender of the Year. A respected international spirits judge, she has lent her palate and perspective to Diageo World Class, the ASCOT Awards, L.A. Spirits Awards, and New Orleans Spirits Competition.

Her expertise and storytelling have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Southern Living, Wine Enthusiast, Forbes, and Essence, with television appearances on NBC’s TODAY, Netflix’s Drink Masters, Netflix’s High on the Hog, and Food Network’s The Kitchen.

Tiffanie is also the founder of The Barriere Collective, a creative hospitality agency rooted in culture, clarity, and care. Through strategic storytelling, brand consulting, education, creative direction, and experiential work, the Collective brings brands and communities together through meaningful, memorable experiences.
