Nic Wallace brings 20 years of hospitality, mixology, and luxury service experience to the bar. With 12 years at Sea Island Resort—one of America’s most celebrated luxury destinations—Nic leads high-profile bar teams, develops award-winning beverage programs, and mentors a team of 60+ bartenders on site.

Nic is the 2025 USBG World Class Bartender of the Year sponsored by Diageo (the largest and most prestigious bartending competition in the World), a four-time USBG World Class National Finalist (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023), two-time USBG World Class National Speed Round Winner, and the 2019 “Port Your Heart Out” Cocktail Competition Winner.  He was named Food & Beverage Team Member of the Year by the Georgia Hospitality & Lodging Association in 2017 and is a BAR 5-Day Graduate (2020), one of the industry’s most rigorous spirits education programs.

Nic’s work has been featured in Fortune Magazine, Whiskey Advocate, and Forbes Travel Guide, along with several others, where his storytelling, flavor combinations, and Southern-inspired approach to cocktails and spirits have earned national recognition. His passion for product education and hospitality excellence has extended to training and development initiatives with The Broadmoor—Sea Island’s sister property in Colorado Springs.

Nic currently serves as Bar & Spirits Director at Sea Island Resort, where he oversees the spirits portfolio, cocktail programming, and luxury beverage service standards across 15+ outlets.
