Mari Howe

Tikehau Lounge - Wailea, HI

Born and raised in Hawaii, Mari began her career in the food and beverage industry at just 16 years old before flourishing within Phoenix’s cocktail scene while earning her Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

Her creative direction is deeply rooted in family heritage and travel-inspired influences—especially from Japan—blended seamlessly with Maui’s lush tropical landscape. Through thoughtful hospitality, she emphasizes local sourcing, community building, education, and mentorship.

Mari currently serves as Bar Manager of Maui’s award-winning craft cocktail destination, Tikehau Lounge. Under her leadership, the bar earned Gold for Maui’s Best Bar and Best Hand-Crafted Cocktails at the 2025 Aipono Awards. Most recently, Tikehau Lounge was voted the #1 Bar in the 2026 Hawaii Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards and named a Regional Top Ten Honoree for both Best U.S. Cocktail Bar and Best U.S. Bar Team (West Region) at the 2026 Spirited Awards.
