Justine Ma is the chef, owner, and founder of Bougie Farmer, a one-acre agritourism experience in Keaau on the Island of Hawaii dedicated to immersive farm-to-table experiences. She is recognized for her handcrafted dumplings, live-fire cooking, and refined zero-waste approach—transforming locally sourced and rescued ingredients into farm-fresh luxury.

Influenced by her Chinese heritage, classical Italian training, and studies in food as medicine, her work bridges tradition and modern technique with a focus on depth, intention, and seasonality. She is a James Beard Foundation Legacy alumna, has been featured on Food Network’s Chopped, headlined Outstanding in the Field at Kona Salt Farm, and competed on Amazon Prime’s America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation.
