In a field traditionally dominated by men, Jennifer Evetushick commands a culinary operation comprising of 75 cooks and stewards at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa. She possesses a balance of inspiring leadership, positive attitude, empathy and the most extraordinary cooking skills. With over 15 years in the culinary industry, Evetushick is most passionate in promoting sustainable cuisine and enjoys being creative with the freshest ingredients.

Evetushick  designs menus featuring classic and island favorites that showcase all that Hawaii has to offer through simple preparations that allows customers to savor the main item, whether it is meat or seafood, accompanied by island-grown potatoes or vegetables.

A nerd in the best possible way when it comes to knowing everything about cooking and latest culinary trends, she is getting back to the roots, literally! Her Ube Mini Tarts using purple-colored Ube roots were recently featured by NBC San Jose and at the Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Evetushick continues to lead The Westin Maui in initiatives such as serving hot meals at Ka Hale A Ke Ola homeless shelter, participating in 4H Live Auction to support children involved the program and the annual HLTA Charity Walk.

She joined the famed Rittenhouse Hotel internship program and has held positions such as Pastry Chef, Catering Chef and Executive Chef at Hailiimaile General Store in Maui prior to her current position as Executive Chef at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa.
