As Executive Director for HMSHost, Chris Kadohiro oversees the food and beverage concessions at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, delivering a wide range of dining experiences for travelers, from quick-service offerings to full-service restaurant concepts.

Raised in Hawaii, Chris spent his summers and winters working on his family’s coffee and macadamia nut farm in Kona. This experience instilled a deep appreciation for agriculture and a lasting understanding of the dedication required to bring locally grown food from the land to the table.

With more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, both in Hawaiʻi and across the continental United States, Chris has built a distinguished career focused on exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. He spent many years with Roy’s Restaurants, serving in a variety of leadership roles throughout the Mainland before returning home to Hawaii.

Today, Chris is proud to serve both kamaaina and visitors, helping create memorable dining experiences and ensuring that travelers enjoy a taste of Hawaii as they depart Honolulu.
