Brian Malarkey is a celebrated chef, restaurateur, and television personality whose cooking is deeply inspired by his Oregon roots and passion for hospitality. Raised on a ranch in Oregon, Malarkey recently returned to his home state to open Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge in Bend, a modern cowboy-inspired restaurant, with a second Oregon concept, The Malarkey, debuting in Portland this summer.
In addition to his growing Oregon restaurant group, Brian Malarkey is the chef/owner behind several acclaimed Southern California restaurants, including Herb & Wood, Animae, Herb & Sea, Le Coq, and Herb & Ranch. He first gained national recognition as a finalist on Top Chef Season 3 and has since become a familiar face on Food Network as a frequent judge, guest, and former host of Cutthroat Kitchen.
