Angela is a dynamic leader with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, known for her transformative leadership and deep commitment to excellence. As General Manager of the Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui, Angela brings a wealth of expertise in corporate strategy, operations, and sales, having held leadership roles with some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands, including Marriott, Starwood, Stouffer, and Hyatt.

Angela’s career has taken her across major U.S. markets from Boston to Atlanta to Hawaii, where she has consistently driven innovation, elevated guest experiences, and empowered high-performing teams. She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, having served on Marriott’s Inclusion Council and the General Managers Advisory Council, and previously led the Marriott Hawaii Business Council.

Originally arriving in Hawaii in 1989, Angela quickly fell in love with the islands and their culture. She is deeply engaged in the local community, actively supporting tourism organizations and cultural initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys family time and can often be found snorkeling at her favorite ocean location in Wailea. She has a passion for gardening and cultivates indigenous plants at her home on Upcountry Maui. She embraces the spirit of aloha and the richness of Hawaiian music and arts.

Angela is also a mentor and role model for women inhospitality, frequently sharing her insights on leadership, resilience, and navigating traditionally male-dominated industries.
