Growing up on the Garden Isle of Kauai and moving to Oahu to acquire a college degree in Hawaiian Language, Matt is able to bring Hawaiian Hospitality to the front lines of the industry. In 2008, he started gaining experience at Formaggio Wine Bar as a bar back and at Morimoto Waikiki eventually becoming the bar supervisor. After honing his knowledge under the guidance of Kyle Reutner, he is now the beverage director at The Pig and The Lady. Traveling through the states as well as out of country, immersing himself in different spirit focused travels. Matt enjoys creating unique experiences for guests based around cocktails.
