
Carolyn Portuondo
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa - Ko Olina, HI
Carolyn Portuondo made a magical decision and joined the Aulani Team in April of 2018. She has been in the pastry industry for over 18 years, beginning her career in pastry at Alan Wong’s Restaurant.
Portuondo was the Executive Pastry Chef for Royal Hawaiian Hotel, owned and operated a custom cake bakery in Las Vegas and worked for the Venetian Resort and Casino.
Fun Fact: Portuondo is a career changer with a double Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a Medical School drop out. Her original plan was to be a pharmaceutical toxicologist but thought pastries would be more fun.
