Yo Mama Can Cook!

Event Date:

November 12, 2021

Event Time:

6:00 to 9:00 P.M.

Location:

Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

Executive chef Rey Baysa teams up with esteemed local and mainland talent to bring you back to your roots with this exploration of familial favorites and cultural traditions. In a nod to the most important woman in each our lives, our chefs throw it back to childhood and serve up dishes inspired by mom’s and grandma’s signature recipes. Indulge in a little nostalgia and take your tastebuds down memory lane perusing chef and beverage stations that blend heritage and innovation. It’s a culinary homesickness worth every bite.

MALAMA AINA PARTNER

The destination of puna wai kalo is a functional upland taro growing area at Kualoa Ranch steeped in historical value. Here, volunteers are invited to develop a deeper understanding about taro cultivation, native plants, and how the ancient system of ahupuaa management can be a sustainable model for the future.

Malama Aina experiences are limited and are available only to ticket purchasers of this event. More information will be sent once tickets are purchased.
