Join us on October 29th at the historic Bishop Museum for a Halloween-themed culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds and inspire your creativity. HMAA Presents Keiki in the Kitchen® is back, and it’s bigger and tastier than ever before, packed with food and fun for the whole family.

Enjoy hands-on activities like cookie decorating, pumpkin decorating, a kalo kui class (taro pounding) and agricultural science explorations. Plus, don’t miss your chance to meet celebrity chefs and special guests in our Treat Street Scavenger Hunt, exciting mainstage demonstrations and performances!

Mark your calendars and don your Halloween costumes for a day filled with culinary delights and family fun—you won’t want to miss this spooktacular food experience! Plus, a limited number of tickets have been released for the SOLD OUT, first-ever Kids Foodie Fest—the first grand tasting experience of its kind specially designed for young gourmands (tickets must be purchased separately).

Note: Kids Foodie Fest tickets must be purchased separately and includes admission to the full day of HMAA Presents Keiki in the Kitchen® activities. Tickets are $30 for children & teens (4-17) and $40 for adults (18+). Admission is free for infants & toddlers (3 and under).

Six semi-finalists cook their original, healthy recipe, inspired by their dream school lunch meal and featuring local ingredients, for a panel of expert judges including Chef Alan Wong to win up to $300 in cash prizes.

We’ve invited a star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs to create imaginative kid-friendly dishes sure to inspire their love of food and cooking. Your Kids Foodie Fest ticket includes access to the full schedule of events including the Hawaii Gas Presents Localicious® Recipe Contest Cookoff, Entrepreneurs Marketplace, Treat Street Scavenger Hunt and other engaging hands-on activities.

Meet Chef Graham Elliot and decorate your own Halloween-inspired cookie complete with frosting, candy and sprinkles. He’ll share spooky tips to making a frightfully good treat!

Limited number of cookies available—must reserve your cookie in advance. Only the participating child (ages 4-17) needs to reserve their cookie. Due to space, only one parent or guardian will be allowed in the activity tent with each child.
