Cuisines of the Sun®

Event Date:

October 29, 2022

Event Time:

6:00-9:00 P.M.

CanoeHouse at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection

Created by Hawaii Food & Wine Festival co-founder Alan Wong in 1990, Cuisines of the Sun® explores cooking styles of sunny climates across the globe. Returning to its home at CanoeHouse at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, Chef Alan Wong welcomes back a legendary lineup of veteran chefs from the Cuisines of the Sun® vault to showcase the best of Hawaii’s ingredients. The evening, which highlights gastronomic diversity and excellence in a five-course dinner with wine pairings, will also honor this year’s Culinary Hero—Chef Dean Fearing of Fearing’s Restaurant in Dallas, TX—a pioneer in the culinary industry. Join us as we raise a glass to our culinary honoree and the Cuisines of the Sun® legacy!

Reserve a table of eight (8 tickets) or table of ten (10 tickets) to secure an entire table for your group. Upgrade your ticket or table to VIP for a special pre-dinner cocktail reception to meet and mingle with our Culinary Heroes, as well as VIP reserved seating.

Spend the day learning about Heeia Fishpond’s rich history, unique aquaculture, marine species and significance to the local community. Support with preservation efforts by redistributing rock and coral, placing floating barges, removing trash, invasive mangrove and limu (seaweed) and helping to reconstruct the kuapa (fishpond wall).

Malama Aina experiences are limited and are available only to ticket purchasers of this event. More information will be sent once tickets are purchased.
