It’s time for a proper steak and bourbon pairing in the #HFWF virtual kitchen! Chef Lance Kosaka will have your home kitchen sizzling with the aromas of rib eye, pan roasted to perfection and topped with Mama’s Relish, a colorful medley of Ho Farms tomatoes, lemon and chili relish. Your rib eye meal kit is complete with a side of crispy Brussel sprouts and lemongrass jasmine rice. What’s a juicy steak without a smooth glass of bourbon? Pair your plate with two Maker’s Mark® slow-crafted bourbon cocktails, poured over craft cocktail ice from On The Rock, created by cocktail artist, Jen Ackrill: the bourbon-forward Maker’s Mark® Highball and the pre-mixed On the Mark cocktail with apricot liqueur and bitters. Juicy and tender, follow the step-by-step guide with chef Kosaka to achieve… the perfect steak.

Important Information:

  • The curated meal kits serves two (2) and will be available for pickup on Oahu from 53 by the Sea on Thursday, October 29, 2020, between 3 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
        • Complimentary delivery by 53 By The Sea within six-mile radius of the restaurant. Please contact 53 By The Sea directly at 808-536-5353 to schedule.
  • Cook & Drink Along with #HFWF can be purchased with or without the Maker’s Mark® Bourbon kit.
  • The Maker’s Mark® Bourbon kit includes: one (1) 375ml bottle of Maker’s Mark® Bourbon and mixer, one (1) 375ml bottle of the On the Mark cocktail (made of Maker’s Mark® Bourbon and liqueur), for a total of 750ml of alcohol.
          • Even if you are off-island, we encourage you to join us. A list of ingredients will be shared with you to follow along.
  • Ticket price is inclusive of taxes and fees.
  • All ages welcome; if you plan on sipping along during the Drink Along portion, you must be 21 or older to enjoy.
  • All sales are final. All events, prices, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, HFWF will offer a range options, including ticket exchanges, option to donate tickets or a full refund.
  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail and receipt from squadup@t.squadup.com following your purchase, in that email confirmation will include the Zoom link and directions.   • Maker’s Mark® Bourbon is donated by Beam Suntory and will appear as an Auction Ticket on your e-ticket.

 

Proceeds will benefit the Kokua Ag & Culinary Fund, which supports the agricultural, culinary and hospitality industries in Hawaii.
