Toshiya Konno has been with Ukai Co., Ltd. since 1991. Between 1993 and 1996, he worked at Yokohama Ukai-tei as Assistant Master Chef and as Master Chef.
In 2003, he became Master Chef in the company’s Western Dish Business Department before taking executive positions at the department. Between 2008 and 2009, he was made a Board Member while remaining as the head of the department and became the head of the Business Promotion Team. In 2011, he became Managing Director of the Restaurant Business Department. Since 2016, he has served as Executive Director of the Restaurant Business Department and in top positions at Ukai’s business headquarters and corporate planning team.
