As Executive Chef of THE MODERN HONOLULU since Fall 2011, Toner oversees the culinary aspect of Oahu’s cutting-edge property. Chef Toner brings a five-star experience and a passion for excellence to the lifestyle hotel. Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Chef Toner has been fascinated by the culinary world. Prior to THE MODERN HONOLULU, Scott was part of the opening team for The Grand Hyatt Wailea. From there, he furthered his career with Ritz Carlton Kapalua. In 2010, Chef Toner was part of the team that launched the new EDITION brand, opening their first property, The Waikiki EDITION.
