Nico Chaize is the French-born chef/owner of Nico’s Pier 38. Nico started a small gourmet plate lunch place and recently expanded to a large facility that offers full service at night and a full bar. With nearly 15 years in the business, Nico is now part of the local culinary scene and is constantly pushing the limits with the food that he offers.
A lover of all things local he incorporates local flavors with his international palate. He uses locally grown product whenever possible and uses exclusively local commercially caught fish through the United Fishing Auction. He educates the health benefits of eating fish as well as the advantage of supporting our local fishing fleet. His motto is “only the freshest” and that is what you will get at Nico’s.
