Chef Hui Yuan is the head chef of the Wuxi Hubin Hotel, a five-star hotel in China’s Wuxi City. He also is the Director of the Asia International Culinary Federation, Vice President of Celebrity Chef Club, and a Wuxi business school instructor. He holds the title of Wuxi Master Chef and has won individual and group gold medals and special gold awards in numerous Wuxi cooking competitions. In 2015, he won the International Top Chef Gold Award in the Asia International Kitchen God Award (YiXing) Challenge.
Wuxi Hubin Hotel is very famous in JiangSu, China. The hotel’s revenue has made more than 100 million yuan in eight consecutive years. Chef Yuan has worked at the hotel for over 25 years. He is responsible for large-scale important banquets, planning and designing for various food-tasting activities, and for on-site control, such as the World Expo and the Buddhist Forum meeting. He represented the hotel by appearing on CCTV, Singapore Tourism Satellite TV, Phoenix TV, Robb Report, Food and Wine, Traveler Magazine, Sanlian Weekly and other media. He has assimilated the Chinese traditional culture into food. In 2014, he developed a unique banquet representing WuXi cultural characteristics, named as the "WU DU HE LU feast” which has been widely praised.
