Our Kakaako Presents Raw & Wild In The Tank

It’s Farmers in the “Shark Tank” as three farmers battle it out for a grand prize of $20,000 and a people’s choice award of $10,000, courtesy of the Pauahi Foundation. Three of Kamehameha Schools Mahiai Scale Up farmer entrepreneurs will get into the tank and pitch judges live on stage at Raw & Wild as some of our chefs take to creating wild dishes grown and raised by these farmers. Goat (Aina Pono Livestock), pohole fern (Haloanakapalilikapalala Farms) will be among the new products being showcased by our chefs, including Jordan Kaeo (Aina, SF) and Blaine Wetzel (The Willows Inn, WA), who will be joined by six island favorites.

Cocktails, wines and beer will be poured by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Hawaii and Anheuser-Busch. Join us for food, drinks and lots of excitement for as our farmer entrepreneurs battle it out and try to sway judges into a social investment that supports our local agricultural industry and sustainability in our islands.
